Organic Goat's Rue

I ordered the Organic Goat's Rue because the lactation consultant at my local WIC office said that it was a good galactagogue to try to increase my milk supply. I have only been on them for a few weeks but I can already tell a difference in my supply! I Will definitely keep ordering the Organic Goat's Rue!

I'm using this to induce relactation after years, for our adopted baby coming soon, and it's working so well already and I haven't even started pumping yet! I've noticed growth and even some drops!

I had a large baby (9 lbs) that required more milk than I could produce, and at a month would take 4 ounces per feeding and tends to cluster feed in the evening. Within 4 days of starting this product, I was able to complete several feedings a day without having to supplement with formula, where as before I needed to supplement every feeding. My goal is to be able to no use formula at all by the time I go back to work, and right now I'm well on my way to being there!

I didn't realize how much you have to take before ordering - label says to take 2 capsules 4 times daily, so you don't get much out of a bottle. Noticed little increase in milk production when taking.

Do to breast surgery I use goats rue for nursing and it helps with my supply a decent amount. I definitely notice a difference when I use it and when I don't. I will continue using it through our breastfeeding journey.

After struggling with my breastmilk supply my lactation consultant suggested trying Goats Rue to help improve it. I have both underactive thyroid issues and diabetes in the family (I dont have these conditions myself) and my consultant said that Goats Rye may be a good alternative to fenugreek, which had done nothing for me. To see any real big improvements I am having to take 2 tablets 4 times a day, which quickly means I'm spending £30 every fortnight instead of every month. I'm looking into buying the herb in larger quantities and making a tea from it instead to save myself money in the long run but if you have the cash to spare these are a great alternative.

When this item 1st came in I was so excited. I needed something to help me keep my supply up while my little one was going through a growth spurt. This item did just the trick. It was able to keep my supply up so I was able to keep up with him without having to supplement with formula. it works very quickly once you begin taking. I only needed to take two pills a day because I was increasing my supply but others may need to take the full for a day to increase their supply if it is extremely low. I started using Goats Rue as a way to keep my supply up and be able to add a pump session in and actually get milk. Before I started taking this, I would only get 1-2oz total. After one day, my supply increased and I got 4oz from ONE side!!! I have continued taking it and have seen great results. My little one has cystic fibrosis and need extra calories so I have to pump milk to fortify bottles on top of nursing 8-10x a day. I purchased the goats rue supplement due to low supply, and my lactation counselor told me I didn’t have a lot of breast tissue on one side. Studies have shown that Goats rue help to make breast tissue, so I purchased a bottle on amazon to try out along with supplements to increase milk production. I would say after about 4 weeks of use my milk supply has increased. I experienced no side effects with the supplement and this brand has the most pills with the highest concentration for the best price.

I swapped to Goats Rue after using Fenugreek for 7 months (from a different brand). I did this because I read that Fenugreek could make babies gassy. Well, not only does my baby now spit up less, but she also doesn't have a painful, bloated tummy as often. Plus the quantity of milk I'm producing has gone through the roof! I'm so much more confident in my milk supply now, I'd never go back to using a different supplement!

So happy i tried mamas select goats rue! I’ve tried several lactation supplements, none of which have ever increased my milk supply until now! my baby now only nurses from one breast instead of both each session and i can still manage to pump a few extra ounces everyday. the best part too is there have been no side effects like so many other supplements have caused. even another goats rue brand i tried previously caused my baby constipation, but not mama’s select! so thankful i tried this one

Because I am taking two other galactagogues along with this supplement, I cannot definitively say whether this product is working for me. Since starting it, along with another herbal supplement, my supply HAS increased and my letdowns start much more quickly than before. Obviously there’s no way to tell which one is making the improvement, or if both are....Therefore, I am going to continue to take this!

This product gives a great boost to my milk supply, though I have been finding it makes my little one seem more gassy it doesn't seem to make him irritable or anything.

I purchased blessed thistle, fenugreek and goats rue. I really struggled with my milk supply and had to top up my daughter every time with formula. Since taking the 3 I've seen an increase in my milk that i no longer need to top up. It's a lovely feeling hearing my daughter gulp up my milk. Worth purchasing.
